GreyNet Associate Membership 2008
The Grey Literature Network Service was founded in 1992 and was born out of the International Conference Series on Grey Literature. Since its relaunch in 2003 under the auspices of TextRelease, GreyNet moved from a subscription base to a membership base. GreyNet’s main activity lies in “Corporate Authorship” of electronic and print publications as well as web resources. GreyNet is conscious of the fact that these valuable resources are made possible through the intellectual and financial contributions of leading organisations in the field of grey literature. These organisations fulfil a role that is beyond sponsorship, because they are pari passu responsible for the further development of GreyNet’s content base, which includes:

          • GL Compendium, A Quarterly News Report on Grey Literature
          • GreySource Index, A Selection of web-based resources in Grey Literature
          • GreyText Archive, E-documents in the Field of Grey Literature
        GL Conference Memoranda

GL Conference Proceedings
          • GL Conference Programs
          • TGJ, The Grey Journal, An International Journal on Grey Literature
Whois in the Field of Grey Literature
        Grey Literature Courseware

GreyNet, its Annual Award Dinner, and the GL-Conference Series are for many information professionals a guarantee of continuity, distinction, and content in the field of grey literature. In order to maintain these standards, GreyNet sees fitting to extend to Associate Members in 2008 representation on the GL Program Committee. Now, along with the status of ‘Corporate Author’ and the benefits of an event sponsor, GreyNet Associate Members are also invited to serve on the GL Program Committee. The work of this core committee commences with the launch of GL10, the Tenth International Conference on Grey Literature.

GreyNet actively invites organizations involved in the field of grey literature to seriously consider Associate Membership starting in 2008.
